Actually….. not any dietitian but this is what I teach 🙋♀️
I’ve seen some bad advice lately for postpartum breastfeeding moms wanting to lose weight and it starts with recommending 350 calories breakfast. Like wwhaaatttt 😵💫
So, what’s a 30/20/10 breakfast?
Its getting at least
30g protein
20g fat
10g fiber
So how can you do that easily? here are sole combos:
Combo 1
Protein: 1 cup Greek yogurt
Fat: 2 tbsp of nut butter
Fiber: 1 cup berries + 2 tbsp chia seeds
Combo 2
Protein: 2 eggs + 1/3 cup egg whites
Fat: ½ avocado + 1 oz cheese
Fiber: 1 slice whole grain toast + 1 apple
Combo 3
Protein: 1 ready-to-drink protein shake
Fat: ¼ cup of nuts
Fiber: 1 cup of high fiber cereal + 2 kiwis
Combo 4
Protein: 3 oz turkey breakfast sausage
Fat: 1 oz cheese + 1 tbsp butter/oil
Fiber: 1 cup of roasted potatoes + 1 orange
Combo 4
Protein: protein powder
Fat: 2 tbsp nut butter
Fiber: 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup of berries
Use milk to make for oats
