My name is Lauren and this is my journey to losing the weight that I've been carrying around for far too long! I've struggled with my weight since I was a small child but have never tried to really take control of my weight problem until I have gotten older. I struggled through college to eat healthy and workout but was constantly being challenged with going out and having fun with friends, I wasn
't dedicated mentally or physically to losing the weight. Since I have graduated from college and started working full time, I finally feel like I had that epiphany that woke me up from the day dream I'd been floating around in for so many years! Although I've attempted several times to lose weight and keep it off, I began this weight loss journey in January of 2013 when I joined Weight Watchers with my mom and sister. I struggled in the first several months of the year but finally got the kick in the butt that I needed and kicked it into gear! I have lost almost 50 pounds as of now and hope to lose another 50 in the next six months! I already have an amazing support system and they have gotten me to where I am now! I lost the majority of my first forty pounds without as much exercise as I should have been doing, so my main goal for the new year is to kick it up with the cardio and weight training! I hope to inspire many of you and hope you will help keep me inspired!!
