A few months ago, I surveyed the Babbs and you asked for two things: more collabs + more cremes.

But cremes are boring. 😂 So I needed to make them more fun.

Introducing my monthly local artist series! Each month, I’ll team up with an STL artist who will create a piece of art, and I’ll turn one of the colors into a new creme. You get polish AND art.

First up: 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞 🌱 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞! Katie makes the cutest animal art, and when she said dog + burnt sienna, obviously it had to be Andi. September is her birth month, and Katie captured her PERFECTLY. 😭

Meet Andi’s Burnt Sienna 🤎

The September Artist Set is $20 and includes Andi’s Burnt Sienna + Katie’s professionally printed 4x6 art print. A portion of every set sold goes directly to Katie. The September Artist set will be available tomorrow at 8am for purchase.

The print is September-only and won’t be available again. Andi’s Burnt Sienna will be available on its own for $13.50 starting in October.

And this is just the beginning! I already have local artists lined up through April. Know an STL artist I should work with? Tag them! Maybe they’ll be May. 👀

We took the new fall collection for a test drive. Except there was no road.

Creeks were crossed. Rocks were pocketed. Flowers were picked. Bugs were investigated. Nobody had any idea where we were going. Or how the Domino’s Libby ordered would find us… iykyk

No Fixed Route is taking one more detour. 🙃

The fall collection is moving to Friday, 8/28. Between approximately 900 back-to-school things, tomorrow’s event, late stickers, an unfinished insert AND a polish I decided needed to be reformulated after wearing it on our hike… I need seven more days.

I could scramble. I’d rather launch it exactly how I want it.

Some collaborations just make sense.
When Urban Matter invited me to create an exclusive collection, I wanted every shade to tell part of the story behind this incredible space. From the original 1916 tile floor to the architect who designed the building, the clay beneath our feet, and the sunshine that fills Tower Grove, each polish is inspired by a piece of St. Louis.
Hand-mixed in small batches and available exclusively at Urban Matter.

OTTO 🌿
Meet Otto J. Wilhelmi, the architect who designed the Urban Matter building in 1916.
Wilhelmi helped shape St. Louis through schools, homes, churches, and commercial buildings that are still standing today. Naming this shade after him felt like the perfect way to honor the history of the space.
Otto is a soft green matte creme, inspired by the lush plants and creative energy that now fill the building he designed more than a century ago.

One of my favorite details inside Urban Matter is the original blue-and-white hex tile floor.
Installed when the building was completed in 1916, it’s still there today, welcoming everyone who walks through the door.
1916 is a white crelly filled with light blue, periwinkle, and sapphire blue hex glitters, inspired by those beautiful historic tiles.

STL CLAY 🤎
St. Louis was built where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers meet, and with those rivers came rich clay soil that helped shape the city we know today.
From our famous brick buildings to local pottery studios, clay has always been part of St. Louis’ story.
STL Clay is a warm earthy matte creme, inspired by the color and texture of the clay beneath our feet.
