“Just rest it” only gets you so far 😬

If your elbow feels better when you stop using it but the pain comes right back when you return to your normal routine, that pattern is worth paying attention to. Tendons can improve symptomatically without fully recovering, especially when the same stress is repeatedly placed on the tissue.

When pain continues to come back, the goal should be to figure out what’s happening within the tendon and why it’s not tolerating normal activity. From there, treatment can be tailored to the problem rather than simply treating the pain itself!
