This is a very difficult post to share. After months of deep reflection, I have decided to close Prema Wellness. I’ve had the privilege of teaching yoga and sharing Reiki for over 14 years, almost six years at the Handkerchief Factory. This work, the students, and our community have been a huge part of my life.
As many know, Prema is one of my roles. The past several years I’ve balanced being a full-time teacher, part time adjunct at RWU and Prema. This along with family life have been overwhelming. The saying “burning the candle at both ends” feels all too true. I no longer feel I can give Prema, or our community, the time and energy they deserve.
There will be an abbreviated schedule throughout June. It is my hope that those of you who have found comfort and solace in this space, with our caring instructors, will remain in our last days.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every student, every teacher, and every friend who became part of our community. (You know who you are) Your dedication, warmth, and support have meant the world to me.
