We're so grateful you're in our community!
This month marks 20 years of being a hairstylist, and honestly, it doesn't seem possible.
The longest I've ever been away from doing hair was three months after having my son. Looking back, I realize how incredibly lucky I am to have spent the last two decades doing something I truly love.
To my clients—thank you. Some of you have been with me for nearly all 20 years, and a few even trusted me while I was still in beauty school. You've followed me through four salons, three cities, and some of you even drive over an hour just to sit in my chair. That kind of loyalty is something I'll never take for granted.
Over the years, you've become so much more than clients. We've celebrated weddings, babies, new jobs, and countless milestones together. We've also been there for each other through heartbreak, loss, and life's challenges. I genuinely look forward to every appointment because, in many ways, it's a chance to catch up with friends.
I also want to thank the many stylists I've had the privilege of working alongside over the years. Every salon and every coworker has taught me something—whether it was a new technique, how to better care for clients, or simply how to be a better stylist and person. I'm so grateful for every place this career has taken me and every talented stylist I've met along the way.
And, of course, thank you to my family. Thank you for trusting me with those very first haircuts, for cheering me on, and for supporting me every step of the way. And to my husband—thank you for encouraging me to open Studio Nine when I was scared to take the leap. You've always believed in me, even during the times I doubted myself.
Twenty years later, my heart is full. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Here's to the next 20 years! ❤️
