The gauge refers to the thickness of the needle or jewelry that we use! Different jewelry comes in different sizes. And yes, size does matter when it comes to successful healing.

What is the difference between the different types of nose jewlery?

Here at Icedd Upp, we only start you off with a stud, and once it heals you can change it to a hoop if you want.

We only use labrets as they tend to stay in easier and allow for faster healing than L shaped studs - which tend to get caught and can be accidentally pulled out of your nose easier.
