Pediatric Massage is moving to the Add-On menu and will no longer be available for stand alone bookings. If a parent or legal guardian would like to book a service for their child, they must do so in addiction with their own, individual, bodywork session.
Pediatric massage has, for a long time, held a special place in my heart as it educates our young people about their muscles, sitting with their own thoughts and feelings, and building upon the mind/body connection we are innately born with. All that said, I’ve struggled with whether or not to remove it from the menu due to lack of interest, and subsequently, bookings. As a body worker, my goal is to help as many people as possible, holistically, using the amazing power of massage - including kids! As a business owner, I had to take a hard look at the numbers and admit to myself a change was needed. I am hoping this is a compromise everyone is not only understanding of, but enthusiastic about as we set the example for our young people to care for themselves in real time!
