White Whale resurfaces this Friday at 12PM PST!
White Whale Clay features the first upgrade to the Oasis Clay formula since 2021. This upgrade aims to further increase its spreadability and strike a professional balance between tack and user-friendliness. The exciting new ingredient, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, is a naturally derived blend of chained carbon atoms. These carbon chains plasticize the waxes as they cool, ensuring a smooth, uniform consistency.
I believe this results in an Oasis Clay that is easier to use, more resilient to batch consistency issues, and more professional feeling without sacrificing any of the killer performance and strength that people love it for.
I'll have a feedback form on my website but I'm pretty certain you'll love it as much as I do!

It brings me immense pride to announce our next collaboration, Le Grand Chypre Clay, a melding of the Oasis Clay formula you know and love with one of my favorite Barrister and Mann fragrances. Releasing 12PM PST this Friday (3/13)!

I'm eager to make room for more batches in my rotation of fragrances, so this MLK Jr Day Weekend I've made all Nomad products (except for the EDPs) a whopping 40% off. If you've followed Templeton Tonics for a while, you'll know that this fat of a discount doesn't come around very often.

Nomad is an exotic blend of sandalwood, cedarwood, sage, and resinous incense smoke atop a pillowy bed of ambrette musk. It's one of my personal favorites, especially this time of the year when the days are short and cold.

Years ago I went on a winter hike with a girl. It started snowing and as the snow melted in my hair, the hair product began to melt from my hair as well. Before long I had half-emulsified white gel running down my forehead, stinging my eyes. I'd also been hiking in the summer heat and had that melt the product from my hair as well. Not the coolest look!

So when I started creating my lineup of products at Templeton Tonics, one of my top goals was to make products that hold their own against wild conditions. Listen, I know there isn't a huge overlap of grooming enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers, but maybe that's because there haven't been products that are made for the wild?

Many moons ago, the Norse Vikings looked forward to the winter solstice (or Yule). They believed that the sun was a spinning wheel that slowed down during the winter; the solstice marked the moment when the wheel began to spin towards the light.
