✨ BROKEN. MENDED. MOLDED. ✨
Those three words became the title of my chapter in The Power of YES.
But today, they mean even more to me than they did when I first put my story on paper.
When I wrote “Broken, Mended, and Molded,” I was telling the story of seasons in my life that didn’t make sense while I was living through them. Seasons that felt like interruptions. Detours. Setbacks. Moments when the life I thought I was building suddenly looked very different than the one in front of me.
At the time, I couldn't always see what those experiences were creating.
I could only see what was being broken.
But looking back, I can see the mending.
And now, I can see the molding.
The experiences I once wished I could erase became part of the preparation for the work I am doing today.
They changed the way I see healing.
They changed the way I listen to people who are struggling to find answers.
They changed the way I think about purpose.
And ultimately, they helped give birth to Revive Me Healing Center.
Revive Me isn't simply a business I decided to open. It grew from my own journey of searching, learning, rebuilding, healing and discovering that sometimes the road you never planned to travel becomes the very road that leads you to your purpose.
As I approach my 50th birthday and look toward this next chapter of my life, I understand “Broken, Mended, and Molded” differently.
Broken doesn't have to mean finished.
Mended doesn't have to mean returning to exactly who you were before.
And Molded means allowing every chapter—the beautiful ones and the painful ones—to shape you into someone capable of serving a purpose bigger than yourself.
Some of the things I once considered interruptions were actually redirections.
Some of my hardest seasons became preparation.
Some of the questions I couldn't answer then make much more sense from where I stand today.
Maybe that's why the word Revive means so much to me.
To revive is more than getting something back.
It's discovering what can come alive because of everything you've walked through.
As I enter this next chapter, my prayer is that I can take everything I've learned, everything I've overcome and everything I've been entrusted with—and use it to help more people renew their minds, restore their bodies and revive their lives.
My story isn't finished.
In many ways, I feel like I'm just getting to the part where I understand why some of the earlier chapters had to be written.
Broken. Mended. Molded.
And now...
Revived. 💚
