August 7 was the 1st Annual Memories in the Park event co-hosted by the Shawano ADRC and Alzheimer's Association Wisconsin Chapter Do What You Love to End ALZ program. Everyone gathered in Franklin Park in Shawano to raise awareness for Alzheimer's. Some of the highlights included an educational presentation, live music, a promise garden presentation, interviews with the Shawano News, and PUPPIES!

Thank you to New Perspective West Bend for hosting their 12th Annual Drive to End Alzheimer’s golf event! Their fundraising goal was $12,000 in honor of the 12th year and they exceeded it to raise $13,500. Special shout out to Michael Nagovan for being the catalyst for this event in honor of his dad.
