Okay… I’ve been talking about this all summer 😆
The doors to the Integrative Health Collective are officially OPEN!

And I’m so ridiculously excited to finally be able to say that!

Over the past year, I’ve watched, and truly felt, something really special take shape through the Integrative Health Speaker Series. From the incredible expert panels to the conversations, connections, collaborations, and growing sense of community, I’m so proud of what we’ve created together.

The Integrative Health Collective is our new ongoing home for integrative and functional health learning, practitioners, resources, conversations, community AND all the fun things we’re already doing through the Speaker Series and our Wellness Field Trips.

Inside, we’ll have practitioner on-demand Deep Dives sessions, monthly virtual Functional Health Circles with me, quarterly “Real Talk” sessions with a group of guest practitioners, curated resources, member savings on events and field trips, and plenty more as this community grows.

And because I wanted opening the doors to feel extra special.....some pretty incredible practitioners and businesses have generously contributed to a Launch Bonus Bundle 🎁 for everyone who joins during the first two weeks. I’ll be sharing more about all of them because the generosity behind this bundle has honestly been amazing!

✨ Launch Bonus Bundle: 2 weeks only, available through September 14th
✨ Founding Member Rate: $49/month (save $20/month) through October 4th
✨ After October 4th: $69/month

I have approximately a bazillion ideas for where I want this to go 😂, but mostly I’m just really happy that the doors are finally open.

This feels like the beginning of something really, really incredible, and I would love for you to be part of it.

I am incredibly excited to share this episode of Westborough TV’s Everyday Wellness with Nurse Bev. This was such an incredible conversation. Kate Walsh - Powers you are one of the most inspiring, thoughtful, and talented people I know, thank you for sharing your story with us all ❤️

A Life That Fits: Neurodivergence, Nervous System Regulation, Creativity, and Support

What does nervous system regulation actually mean in everyday life—and how can understanding it help us better support ourselves and the people around us?

In this episode of Everyday Wellness with Nurse Bev, Bev is joined by Kate Powers, a special education teacher, author, creative entrepreneur, and parent, for a conversation about neurodivergence, nervous system regulation, and the many different ways people experience and move through the world.

Together, they explore how dysregulation can look different in children and adults, how Kate’s own experiences have shaped the way she thinks about wellness, and what parents of sensitive or neurodivergent kids can do to create more support and connection at home.

They also discuss creativity as a wellness tool and how writing, art, storytelling, and other forms of expression can support emotional well-being and self-understanding.

Throughout the conversation, Kate brings together her perspective as an educator, parent, and creator to show how wellness can look different from person to person—and why support, creativity, and understanding individual needs matter.

In this episode, Bev and Kate talk about:

• What nervous system regulation really means in everyday life

• How dysregulation can show up differently in children and adults

• Neurodivergence, parenting, and supporting sensitive kids

• Practical ways to support regulation at home

• Creativity as a tool for expression and emotional well-being

• What it can look like to create a life that feels more aligned with who you are

Have a listen (🔗 in bio), leave a review, connect with Kate 😀

We had a great discussion tonight! Thank you Konenki Menopause for hosting. I loved talking about the metabolic shifts that occur during perimenopause and menopause and what levers we can pull, as well as what tools can help.

Hormones, peptides, GLP-1s. Three words that come with a lot of noise, and one conversation that finally made sense of them.

Huge gratitude to Beverly Mazza, Jennifer Layton, and Kara Lapierre, three of our Vetted Konenki Providers, for showing up so openly and sharing what they know. And to everyone who joined us live, we see you. Choosing to invest an hour in yourself is no small thing.

Could not make it this time? You have not missed your chance. More conversations like this are already on the way.

Find out what is next at the link in the comments.

There is so much fear and uncertainty around Alzheimer’s, cognitive decline, and dementia, but there is also so much we can learn, understand, and prepare for.

At our October 4th Integrative Health Speaker Series kick off event, we’re bringing together four experts to look at this topic from several different angles.

We’ll talk about:

🧠 Dementia risk + brain health
What family history means, how aging affects risk, and which lifestyle factors may be modifiable via an integrative and functional health lens.

🩸 Blood sugar + the brain
I’ll be talking about the connection between metabolic health, insulin resistance, and cognitive health, and why blood sugar belongs in the brain health conversation.

🤝 What happens after a diagnosis
How families can navigate care, safety, planning, and the many decisions that can suddenly feel overwhelming.

🎨 Life beyond the diagnosis
How connection, creativity, identity, purpose, and meaningful engagement still matter deeply after cognitive changes begin.

I don’t want this event to be about fear, but rather hope.

It’s about helping you feel more informed, more prepared, and better able to understand the many pieces that influence brain health and dementia care.

Whether you’re thinking about your own future health, supporting a parent or loved one, or simply want to better understand this topic, this conversation is for you.

📅 Sunday, October 4 th | 3:00–6:00 PM
📍 Trinity Church of Northborough
🎟 Tickets: $30

🎉Early Access is open now through August 24 th. Early Access ticket holders will also be entered to win a $50 gift card to Synergy Wellness Center in Hudson 🫶

I am so psyched to introduce you to the most comfy pjs I have ever worn!

But why am I talking about PJs? 😉

As a nurse, I am always talking to my perimenopausal and menopausal patients and clients about the importance of sleep, and most importantly, what they can do to get better sleep!

Sleep can take a major hit at this stage of life, and lots of things start falling apart when you are not sleeping well....including a rise in blood sugar numbers.

I always talk about the basics, like nutrition and lifestyle habits to start (and stop!) that can impact sleep. But what you sleep in can also make all the difference, especially if you are in peri/menopause and struggling with night sweats that leave you soaked, or you just run hot at night.

Night sweats were actually my first first perimenopausal symptom, and I remember waking drenched. Yuck, and so uncomfortable.

I recently connected with Katya, the incredible founder of A DOMANI to learn all about her groundbreaking temperature regulating natural fiber PJ’s.

I’m always looking to make non-toxic swaps, so I love that these are made with natural fibers and not plastic.

She is on a beautiful mission to improve the quality of sleep for all women who experience nights sweats, sleep hot, have delicate skin, are post surgical or undergoing cancer treatments, and of course who just want to feel like they are draped in the softest, most luxurious natural fabric.

They are an investment that will love you back every night you are feeling cool, and comfy :)

If you want to check these out for yourself, Katya and I have collaborated, and she has offered a generous discount code (20% off) for my community on your first order. Comment “sleep,” and I’ll share the coupon details, or head to bio.
