Ben was first introduced to industrial hygiene through a summer internship at the SAIF Corporation in Oregon. As he's worked, he's found that ergonomic hazards matter much more than people think.

Employee Spotlight: Meet Baili!

Growing up, Baili's dad worked in machine shops and manufacturing facilities, and he would often come home and talk about his coworkers’ injuries or health problems.

Those stories really stuck with Baili and made her interested in workplace health and safety. When she was in college and had the opportunity to take industrial hygiene classes, everything clicked for her.

She now enjoys getting to connect with clients and their employees at Safex. She likes being able to explain what she's doing, why she's doing it, and how the work Safex is performing can help protect their health. Building a rapport with employees makes the job more rewarding because she's not just collecting samples, she's interacting with real people who are directly affected by her work.
