Meet Shanon Ashley, Senior Provider Enrollment Specialist at MPR.

Shanon Ashley's path to MPR started on the client side. With 35 years in healthcare, she had worked with MPR in a previous role, and when the opportunity came along, the team she had trusted became the team she joined.

Since joining, Shanon has built a reputation as a go-to resource who meets every challenge head on. She specializes in onboarding new groups through the complexities of provider enrollment, and recently, that dedication was formally recognized with her promotion to Senior Provider Enrollment Specialist, a title that reflects leadership she'd already been demonstrating every day.

Outside the office, family comes first. Her 3-year-old granddaughter is her heart, and you'll find her antiquing, gardening, reading, or at bible study.

We're grateful for Shanon's contributions and proud to see her continue to thrive in this role.

On June 23, Genn Muzzy celebrated her 5-year anniversary with Medical Provider Resources!

Over the past five years, Genn has been instrumental in our growth and success. Her dedication, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence have strengthened our operations, enhanced the services we provide, and supported both our clients and team members every step of the way.

As part of our ongoing commitment to organizational alignment and strategic growth, we are also pleased to announce Genn’s title change from Chief Data Officer to Data Integrity Director. This change reflects the critical leadership she provides within our Document Updates/Data Integrity team and aligns with the structure and direction of our organization as we continue to grow.

Eleven MSSC members were selected by the Wichita Business Journal for 2026 Healthcare Heroes Awards, which were announced in the latest issue and will be presented at a Sept. 1 dinner. MSSC retired member Joaquin Santos, MD, who teaches at the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, earned a Lifetime Achievement award. MSSC board member Tessa Rohrberg, MD, of KU School of Medicine-Wichita was honored as a Healthcare Educator. Justin Gooden, MD, of MK Wound & Limb Preservation was among Healthcare Innovations winners. And all 8 of those honored in the Physicians category are MSSC members: Drs. Ali Ahmad, Howard Chang, Paul Enns, Byron "Blake" Gorman, David Mayans, Joseph Moore, Aaron Nilhas and Kahlil Saad.

Isabel Gibbs joined MPR as an intern over a decade ago. What followed has been a career built on growth, dedication, and deepening expertise.

Isabel spent 11 years in Primary Source Verification specializing in reappointments before transitioning to MPR's Document Updates department. Along the way, she earned her Certified Physician Licensing Specialist (CPLS) certification, a milestone that reflects her commitment to growth.

Today, Isabel works to ensure provider documentation stays current and compliant, helping healthcare organizations maintain the accuracy that keeps patient care running smoothly.

Outside the office, family comes first. Isabel's roots are in Oklahoma City, and right now she's busy helping plan her granddaughter's quinceañera, from finding the dress to watching her practice her dances, and she's loving every moment of it.
