Yesterday, EagleMed/AMR was proud to partner with Butler County EMS to host the Andover stop of the NEMSMS Moving Honors procession. This collaborative effort brought together regional EMS agencies, honor guards, and community members to recognize and support one another while honoring those who have served.
The NEMSMS procession is part of a nationwide tribute leading to the National EMS Memorial Service and Weekend of Honor in Arlington, VA. This event recognizes EMS professionals who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. During the Andover stop, participants and attendees had the opportunity to reflect on the lives and service of these individuals and show support for their families, colleagues, and communities.
The ceremony included a memorial procession, moments of silence, and remarks emphasizing the significance of remembering those who dedicated their lives to helping others. The partnership with Butler County EMS played a key role in ensuring the success of this event and reinforcing the strong relationships across agencies in our region.
