❓Is this what your physical therapist looks like?
😩I heard a disheartening story this morning.
😩My first patient today told me he was attending PT at another local clinic twice per week. Once he arrived he rode the stationary bike 15 minutes and went through his exercises on his own. The therapist worked on his laptop and spoke with him once each visit.
🥺 Not once had he measured his strength, looked at the patient’s X-rays, or discussed what the patient wanted to achieve.
➡️ I bring this up not to bash the other clinic, because for some patients, this is exactly what they need and want.
➡️ However, if you are looking for a provider who wants to genuinely get to know you and what you want to achieve without their head down in a laptop all session, let’s have a chat.

I, personally, have a philosophy. If you know me, my mantra is...
Give it a year!🤷‍♀️
UNLESS... whatever is ailing me keeps me from getting on the water! 😅
