Today marked an exciting milestone for oral health education at Mid-State!

Community members, partners, and supporters gathered at the Wisconsin Rapids Campus to celebrate the opening of Mid-State’s new Oral Health Lab with remarks, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and tours of the new space.

Stay tuned for more information on today’s event and what the new lab and Dental Hygienist program will mean for students and the community.

We’re proud to partner with the Wood County Sheriff’s Department to support educational opportunities that help learners reach their goals and move forward.

Today 2 inmates earned their HSED through Mid-State Technical College. Congratulations to both of them! We appreciate their hard work earning their degree! We always appreciate our partnership with MSTC!! Together we are making a difference!

Mid-State Technical College is proud to announce a $100,000 commitment from Skyward, Inc. in support of the Nexus Public Safety Center.

The Stevens Point-based technology company’s investment will help advance the development of modern, realistic training environments for current and future law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections, and other public safety professionals.

Skyward’s support also reflects the important role regional businesses can play in strengthening public safety education and training across central Wisconsin and helping move the Nexus Public Safety Center project forward.

Cougar pride with a side of mashed potatoes! 🐾🥔

Mid-State’s Grit the Cougar joined the mascot race at today’s National Mashed Potato Day Celebration at the Food + Farm Exploration Center. Between some friendly competition, photos with fellow mascots and exploring the exhibits, there was plenty of fun to go around.

Thank you to Food + Farm for bringing our community together—and inviting Mid-State to be part of the celebration.

Transform lives as a College Experience Specialist by delivering exceptional start-to-finish, one-stop customer service for the Student Services and Information Center at the Adams Campus.

This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week during the morning shift. Hours are subject to variation based on college needs.

This October, celebrate the ideas, creativity, and perspectives that shape how we understand the world.

National Arts and Humanities Month highlights fields that encourage critical thinking, communication, and curiosity. At Mid-State, University Transfer students can explore areas such as literature, creative writing, philosophy, ethics, music, and history while earning credits toward an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree and preparing to transfer to a four-year college or university.

In this role, you will teach, mentor, role model, and guide student learning and create and maintain a dynamic, innovative, and positive learning environment.

This position will require an on-campus presence and would not be remote teaching.

Limited-term position with an anticipated end date of June 2028.

A new career pathway at Mid-State is preparing students to help strengthen health and well-being in their communities.

The Community Health Worker technical degree was added in response to changing workforce needs in community health. The program prepares students to help individuals and families connect with health care, social services, and community resources while building skills in outreach, advocacy, and resource navigation.
