*CABBAGE: BORING? NEVER. 💛*

You pass it every shop trip. Cheap, simple, forgotten.

Yet it has more Vitamin C than an orange, fights inflammation, feeds your good gut bacteria, supports your heart and liver detox.

Expensive superfoods? This one costs R30.

Raw cabbage is good. *Raw FERMENTED cabbage is a superpower.*

We ferment it 4 weeks with just salt + time into 10+ strains of live probiotics.

Don't cook it. Eat it alive.

Friday Fun Fact that might shock you... 👀

*MORE ALIVE THAN YOGURT?*

Yep.

That little forkful of RAW sauerkraut on your plate? It's teeming with live microorganisms created during natural fermentation.

But here's the catch everyone misses:

*PASTEURIZED = NOT ALIVE.*

If it's shelf-stable and not in the fridge, heat has likely killed the live cultures you wanted in the first place.

*At Dee Ray Essentials we do it different:*
✅ RAW
✅ UNPASTEURIZED
✅ REFRIGERATED
✅ 100% Cabbage + Salt + Time

That’s how you keep it REAL FOOD, REAL GOODNESS, ALWAYS RAW.

Happy Friday, Gut Lovers! Add a forkful to your weekend braai plate and feel the difference. 🥬✨

FIBRE IS YOUR GUT'S BEST FRIEND 💛

Your small intestine absorbs nutrients to feed YOU.
Your large intestine feeds your GOOD bacteria.

And what do good bacteria love to eat? *FIBRE.*

When they get fibre, they help support regular digestion, a healthy gut environment & overall well-being.

Cabbage = natural fibre.
Raw sauerkraut = fibre + live cultures from fermentation.

One spoonful, so much goodness. Don't cook it - just add 1-2 tbsp to your meal.

Real food, real goodness.
