Garden to Skin is our answer to that theme: botanical skincare made entirely from what actually grows here in South Australia, from seed to bottle to skin.

Where I come from, the kitchen was the apothecary.

My grandmother did not reach for a pill when something hurt. She reached for the garden. For the pantry. For what she knew had worked for generations before her.

Chamomile for nerves. Yarrow for wounds. Rose petals in summer, dried and stored for winter. Fermented honey with herbs that would last through the cold months.

She never called it herbalism. It was simply living.

That knowing — passed through hands, not textbooks — is the foundation of everything I make at Fragrant Rituals.

Before pharmacies. Before synthetic chemistry. Before all of it — there were plants.

Humans didn't just use them. We lived inside them.

For thousands of years, our health, our moods, our rituals, our grief, our celebrations — all of it moved through the plant world. Resins burned at thresholds. Herbs pressed into skin. Flowers carried at weddings and funerals alike.

We didn't have a word for it then. It was simply life.

What I create at Fragrant Rituals is rooted in that understanding. Not nostalgia. Something older.

Our original nature — the shared thread between people, plants, and place.
