Meet our founder Braeden!

Exercise isn’t about “fixing” chronic pain or illness, it’s about helping you live better with it 🧑‍🩰

The right exercise can build strength, improve confidence, support independence and help you do the things that matter to you.

Progress doesn’t always mean doing more. Sometimes, it means doing the things you love with a little more confidence.

Her story shows the power of listening as a practitioner and understanding your clients needs. It’s not just her strength that has improved, but her attitude and mindset to exercise as well as her capabilities outside the gym.

Pilates and strength training

Both modes of exercise are incredibly valuable, each offering unique benefits. The greatest adaptations occur when they are trained as seperate modalities, allowing each to deliver the outcomes they are designed to achieve.

Strength is designed to progressively increase force production, muscle strength, muscle mass and physical capacity which increases bone mineral density, metabolic health like enhancing insulin sensitivity and help maintain independence and quality of life.

Pilates focuses on movement quality, body awareness, mobility, coordination, breathing and endurance. Improving core and pelvic stability, balance, flexibility aiding in more efficient movement patterns helping reduce movement compensations.
