At Trieste Foundation, participant matching is an important part of creating successful Supported Independent Living arrangements.

It’s not simply about finding an available room. We take the time to consider personalities, interests, routines, communication styles and individual support needs, because feeling comfortable with the people you live alongside can have a meaningful impact on everyday life.

When the right people come together, we can see greater opportunities for connection, confidence, shared experiences and genuine friendships — whether that’s enjoying a day out bowling, celebrating each other’s wins or simply feeling at home in each other’s company. 🎳🙌

Good outcomes start with listening, understanding the individual, and making thoughtful decisions about who may complement one another.

With this in mind, we warmly invite our local sector colleagues and community connections to join us for Tea Time with Trieste Foundation. It will be a relaxed opportunity to meet our team, connect with others across the sector and learn more about the work happening within our community—all over coffee, tea and cake.

What a fantastic day at the Lake Macquarie Disability Expo!

We loved having the opportunity to connect with so many participants, families, Support Coordinators, allied health professionals and fellow providers from across our local community.

There were plenty of great conversations throughout the day — from learning more about what people are looking for in their supports, to sharing information about Trieste Foundation, our services and our current SIL and SDA accommodation opportunities.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to have a chat, introduce themselves or simply say hello.

Events like these are such a valuable reminder of the importance of connection, collaboration and choice within our disability community, and we’re grateful to have been part of it.

We look forward to continuing the conversations and building even more connections across our regions.

Our supports are built around warmth, respect, safety and genuine connection. Whether through Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation, Medium Term Accommodation or Home Supports, our focus is always on supporting each person to live in a way that reflects their own goals, preferences and routines.

We look forward to sharing more about our team, our homes, our services and the values that guide us every day.
