🇨🇦Currently accepting new clients in person in Calgary and virtually across Canada. The best way to start, is our therapist matching tool - it takes up to 5 minutes and helps you choosing the right therapist to book a free consult with 🛋️✨

🚨Disclaimer: This is a mock therapy session created to show one possible way a conversation like this might unfold. In real therapy, these conversations usually take more time, context, and back-and-forth between the therapist and client.

Not remembering parts of childhood can happen for many different reasons. This is just one possible scenario, not an explanation that fits everyone. Therapy is personal, and what comes up and how it’s explored will look different for each person.

A little team update is coming soon 👀✨ stay tuned 🤎

🛋️ Currently accepting new clients in person in Calgary and virtually across Canada 🇨🇦 The best way to get started is by trying our Therapist Matching Quiz ✨

Please note that some therapists may currently be accepting new clients through a waitlist only. We still encourage you to join, as the wait can be as short as 2–3 weeks 🧡

‼️Disclaimer: This is a mock therapy session created to illustrate the difference between culturally responsive and non-culturally responsive approaches to therapy.

Both approaches shown can have a place in therapeutic practice. The intention is not to suggest that one therapist is “good” and the other is “bad,” but to highlight how cultural responsiveness can bring additional nuance to the therapeutic relationship and help clients feel more deeply seen, heard, and understood—particularly when culture, race, and identity shape their lived experiences.

Cultural responsiveness is not dependent on a therapist sharing the same cultural background as their client. Therapists of any identity can practise culturally responsive therapy through ongoing awareness, curiosity, education, training, and a willingness to understand how culture and identity may shape each client’s experiences and needs.
