The time and effort you put into your practice is directly reflected in your schedule.

The extra stuff matters to your clients and you get paid for it when you get clients re-booking and referrals being sent your way. That is your payment.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN LOOKING FOR A CLINIC SPACE TO WORK AT?

Collaboration.

Find a group of people that want to work together and who see you as an equal. I hate to say it but some Chiropractors and Physiotherapists still don’t see RMTs as their counter parts. Find a place that does.

Open to learning/teaching.

You want a place that is open to teaching you.

A place where Chiropractors let you sit in on certain cases or Physiotherapists let you feel something on a patient.

This is so important when we are just starting out.

GOOGLE REVIEWS.

It is simple and easy and it works!

You just have to ask😬

Asking for a google review is often the hardest part for people.

“ I don’t want to put them on the spot.”

“I don’t want to make them feel obligated to do it.”

Guess what?!

If you don’t ask the answer will always be no!

And the best part of google reviews is you don’t have to come out and ask.

Just put a QR code with a nice little “google review request” in your treatment room, washroom, front office space. DONE🙌

OR

In ALL of your electronic communications have a link to the google review form. DONE🙌

No one feels uncomfortable or obligated.

FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR CLIENTS.

This is a key step in building trust, confidence and loyal relationships.

And it’s not being done.

If you do this, you will stand out from the RMT down the street.

You should be doing follow-up emails within 24 hrs of a new client OR a new injury for a repeat client.

You should be doing follow-up emails within 7 days of giving rehabilitation exercises to a client.

You should be checking in with a client if they cancel due to sickness or family emergency. This one goes a long way in building a loyal relationship, it shows you care.

Proof that building relationships is key to a successful practice.

14 years ago I connected with a local triathlon coach. We met for coffee and totally clicked. He came in for a free 1hr session and from that started referring me his athletes.

One of his athletes came to see me and became a regular right away.

Then this client told his training partner about me. He started to come see me.

Then the training partner told his wife about me. She started to come see me.

Then the training partner told his co-worker about me. He started to come see me.

Then the co-worker told his wife about me. She started to come see me.

That is 4 new clients from one connection.

They’ve been clients for 14 years!

That is a lot of sessions for one free treatment🙌
