Heritage Community Fitness is a locally owned Carleton Place integrative health facility that combines a state-of-the-art fitness centre, group fitness classes, and physical rehabilitation services under one roof. It’s a new approach that formed through the belief that good health is a combination of factors – one that includes both fitness and rehabilitation. Fitness
We opened our fitness centre

in 2007 to create an environment that encourages people of all abilities to take an active role in nurturing good health. Our 22,000-square-foot fitness centre includes cardio equipment, a full inventory of free weights and strength-training equipment, fitness accessories, and group fitness classes. We have something for everyone. Rehabilitation
Our Collaborative Care Centre has evolved since opening in 2014 to include 14 health care specialties. These health care services include chiropractic, concussion management, counselling, exercise rehabilitation, naturopathy, nutritional services, physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy, pelvic floor therapy, prenatal massage therapy, registered massage therapy, and TMJ therapy. Our practitioners collaborate to ensure clients receive the best care possible. You’ll often see our team with clients in our fitness centre creating rehabilitation plans to support sustainable recovery. Tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m. Breathwork with Bobbi

This 60-minute guided class is designed to be accessible and welcoming for anyone who is breath-curious or new to breathwork. This is not about forcing emotional breakthroughs. It’s about helping your body feel safe enough to soften, listen, release, and shift.

👉 This class is for you if you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or curious about what your body has been holding—and you want a gentle, supportive way to reconnect. This is not a high-intensity or journeying-style breathwork experience. We move slowly and respectfully, with your unique individual nervous system leading.

👉 This class may not be the right fit for you if you have severe cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of seizures or epilepsy, glaucoma or retinal issues, or mental health symptoms that require one-to-one clinical care

If you’re unsure whether this class is right for you, you’re always welcome to reach out to us before registering.

Bring a yoga mat, a blanket, water, and wear comfortable, layered clothing (as you will be lying down).

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle treatment that supports the body’s natural detoxification processes.

Through light, gliding movements, the treatments stimulate lymphatic flow to help flush toxins, reduce inflammation, ease fluid retention, and restore a sense of balance and well-being.

Clients often choose lymphatic drainage as part of a regular self-care routine or ahead of special events, as results related to swelling and fluid retention can be noticeable shortly after a session. While it is not a weight-loss treatment, lymphatic drainage can support overall lymphatic health and complement other wellness therapies.

Three different lymphatic drainage appointments are available at our Collaborative Care Centre:

Time: 10:00 to 11:15 a.m.
Donation Options: $25, $50, or $100

Join Cara as she guides the group through 108 Sun Salutations, a meaningful practice that symbolizes renewal, reflection, strength, and intention-setting as we welcome the new season.

This session is designed to be a personal journey; move at your own pace, take breaks whenever needed, and modify as necessary.

Whether you complete all 108 or simply take part in the experience, you'll be contributing to a great cause while sharing in the collective energy of the group.

Breathwork is a simple but powerful way to support your nervous system and reconnect with your body. You’ll be introduced to gentle breathing patterns designed to help release tension, settle the mind, and invite the body towards a more present state.

💫 Friday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. ▶️ Aerial Yoga: Slow Flow + Fly
Slow Flow + Fly blends grounded, yoga + somatic movement with aerial work using the hammocks. Expect steady flow, time to linger with curiosity in shapes, while Bobbi intentionally encourages unstructured play throughout; something that is truly missing in most adults’ lives.
