Since our first days on this land I’ve dreamed of having a Wind Phone here at Visitreidranch . ❤️
A quiet little place where you can step away from the world, dial a number on a nostalgic rotary phone, and talk to someone you love who is no longer here on earth with us.

Tell them about your day.
Tell them you miss them.
Tell them the things you never got the chance to say.
Or simply sit quietly and feel close to them for a moment.

And somehow, the perfect little building found its way into this dream.

This old building survived the 2016 wildfire, and after all these years, we are able to give it a new purpose. We moved it, are giving it some love, and are transforming it into our very own Wind Phone booth. The first Wind Phone in Fort McMurray! ☎️🌲

There’s something really beautiful about taking something that survived the devastation that raged around it and giving it a new life as a place centered around love, remembrance, healing and connection. If you haven’t heard of a Wind Phone before it’s truly something special and I can’t wait to share it with you. Stay tuned for the transformation ✨☎️
