What began as a personal healing journey has grown into something truly special for the Algoma community.

Conscious Art Creation was founded in 2022 and moved to Goulais River in October 2025. The journey began with a search for healing after years of navigating complex PTSD, grief and health challenges. Wanting a gentle but powerful way to support both mind and body, the owner returned to her original passion for understanding the connection between science and frequencies.

With a BSc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics, she had always been fascinated by how different frequencies could impact cellular health and regeneration. Discovering quartz singing bowls created a bridge between her scientific background and her personal healing journey, leading to a deeper understanding of how sound, vibration and movement can support overall wellness.

Today, Conscious Art Creation helps restore nervous system wellness through sound, movement and joy.

Two of my favourite sounds - the lapping of waves and my singing bowls. It's not always easy to bring my instruments outside, but it's aways worth it. If you have a chance today, spend a little time in your favourite outdoor space too!

Michelle creates beautiful wall hangings featuring kiln-blown glass, dichroic glass jewelry, and Kinusaiga-inspired abstracts and landscapes.

Kinusaiga is a modern Japanese art form where textured pictures are created by tucking small pieces of fabric into pre-cut grooves on a board.

Her unique and colourful pieces are truly wonderful to see in person.

There's nothing like some gentle waves to help still the mind, remind you to breathe, and just be present for a moment. This one is for you.

You're not losing focus because you're lazy or scattered. You're losing focus because your body doesn't believe it's safe enough to think clearly yet.
When your system is bracing, your brain redirects resources away from memory and clarity and toward survival. That's not a character flaw. That's biology doing its job.

This is your sign to stop pushing through the fog and start speaking to your body instead.

Sit back. Feel your spine supported.
Hum, low and steady, for as long as one exhale lasts. Let the vibration move through your chest and throat.
Do it again.
Notice if your breath has slowed.

Welcome back to you.
You can't think your way out of a body that doesn't feel safe.
You have to come home to it first.
