Universoul Harmony

Universoul Harmony Offering group Sound Baths, Personal Sound & Vibration sessions, and ReikiSound sessions. Hello, my name is Katherine and welcome to my page!

As a Holistic Practitioner, I am passionate to help you improve your "Mind-Body-Spirit" connection through compassionate Energy work and Sound Vibration healing. This is a unique and trans-formative experience waiting for those looking to quiet the mind, relax the body, and connect to spirit/intuition.

*Sound Immersion Sessions relax and rejuvenate while receiving sound bathing with a series of

sacred sound instruments. Just by listening to the sound and vibration from these instruments, you can quickly connect with pure consciousness. Tune-in to whole-body healing, including stress reduction, release of negative feelings, improved immunity and a greater overall sense of well-being.

*ReikiSound is a combination of a Reiki session with intuitive sound healing techniques. The energy session will begin with a brief centering meditation and then combine Reiki/Healing Touch with Sound Vibration on and around the body to enhance your energy session by relaxing the mind so the body can receive the work on a much deeper level.

✨ When Stress Becomes Your Normal ✨

Stress doesn't always feel like panic or overwhelm.

Sometimes it becomes so familiar that we stop noticing it's there.

We tell ourselves:

"I'm just busy."

"This is just a stressful season."

"I'll slow down when things settle down."

Meanwhile, we may find ourselves feeling:

πŸ’œ Mentally exhausted
πŸ’œ Easily irritated
πŸ’œ Disconnected from ourselves
πŸ’œ Struggling to focus
πŸ’œ Carrying tension in the body
πŸ’œ Constantly thinking about what's next

When stress becomes our normal, it can be difficult to recognize how much we're carrying.

That's why creating intentional moments to pause, rest, and reconnect can be so important.

A sound bath can provide a dedicated space to step away from the demands of daily life and simply be present for an hour.

Not because it solves everything.

But because sometimes we need an opportunity to put down what we've been carrying, even for a little while.

Just one week away!

I'm excited to be collaborating with Tara of Loose Grip Loft for a special Summer Solstice evening designed to help you slow down, reflect, and welcome the season ahead with intention.

We'll begin with a relaxing sound bath, allowing you time to settle, unwind, and reconnect with yourself through the soothing sounds of Himalayan singing bowls and other instruments.

Following the sound bath, Tara will guide participants through a journaling and intention-setting experience inspired by the energy of the Summer Solstice, a time often associated with growth, possibility, and new beginnings.

πŸ“… Friday, June 19
πŸ•• 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
πŸ“ Loose Grip Loft, Kemptville

This is my first event at this beautiful new space, and I'm looking forward to sharing the evening with you.

Registration details, contact The Loose Grip Loft.

✨ Is Your Mind Living in the Past or the Future? ✨

Many of us spend very little time in the present moment.

We're replaying conversations.
Revisiting old experiences.
Rethinking decisions we can't change.

Or...

We're worrying about tomorrow.
Planning for next week.
Anticipating what might happen next.

The mind becomes so busy moving between the past and the future that we rarely notice where we are right now.

Over time, this constant mental activity can leave us feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected.

Creating moments of stillness isn't about forcing the mind to be quiet or pretending our thoughts don't exist.

It's about creating an opportunity to slow down.

To pause.

To bring our awareness back to the present moment.

As the body begins to relax and attention settles into the sounds, many people notice that the constant mental chatter starts to soften. Some experience a sense of calm, while others simply enjoy a break from the demands of everyday life.

This is one of the reasons I value sound baths as a self-care practice. They offer a dedicated space to step away from the noise, release what you've been carrying, and reconnect with yourself...even if only for an hour.πŸ’œ

✨ The Sounds Behind a Sound Bath ✨

While Himalayan singing bowls are at the heart of my practice, they are only one part of the experience.

Throughout a sound bath, I may incorporate a variety of instruments, each adding its own tones, textures, and qualities to the soundscape.

Some sounds may feel grounding.
Some may feel expansive.
Some may simply invite you to listen in a different way.

Part of my role as a practitioner is thoughtfully weaving these sounds together to create a cohesive experience from beginning to end.

When people attend a sound bath, they're not just hearing individual instruments, they're experiencing the way the sounds interact, overlap, and unfold throughout the session.

πŸ’œ Have you ever found yourself drawn to a particular sound or instrument during a sound bath?

✨ 5 Things First-Time Participants Are Often Surprised By ✨

1️⃣ You don't have to know how to meditate.

Many people worry they'll be "bad" at it. There is no right or wrong way to experience a sound bath.

2️⃣ You don't have to do anything.

There are no poses to hold, techniques to master, or expectations to meet. Simply get comfortable and allow yourself to listen.

3️⃣ You might be more curious than relaxed at first.

It's completely normal to wonder what instruments are being played, where the sounds are coming from, or what the practitioner is doing. Curiosity is part of the experience.

4️⃣ Many people settle in more deeply after a few sessions.

As the experience becomes more familiar, it can be easier to relax, let go of distractions, and simply receive what the session has to offer.

5️⃣ Every experience is different.

Some people feel deeply relaxed. Some feel energized. Some drift off to sleep, while others remain fully awake. No two sound baths are exactly alike, and each person's experience is unique.

✨ Why Can Rest Feel Uncomfortable? ✨

It sounds like it should be easy.

Lie down.
Be still.
Rest.

Yet for many people, slowing down can feel surprisingly difficult.

When we spend our days moving from one task to the next, responding to notifications, solving problems, and caring for others, stillness can feel unfamiliar.

The moment we pause, we may notice:

πŸ’œ Racing thoughts
πŸ’œ Restlessness
πŸ’œ Physical tension
πŸ’œ The urge to check our phone
πŸ’œ The feeling that we should be doing something else

But that doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.

Sometimes rest feels uncomfortable simply because we're not used to giving ourselves permission to slow down.

Whether it's through a sound bath, meditation, time spent in nature, or simply sitting quietly for a few moments, rest is a practice.

And like any practice, it can take time.

What is one thing that helps you slow down and reconnect with yourself?

✨ Did You Know? ✨

When we experience ongoing stress, our bodies can spend more time in "fight or flight" mode...the body's natural stress response.

Rest and relaxation practices can help support a shift toward the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the "rest and restore" response.

This is the state associated with:
🌿 Slower breathing
🌿 Reduced muscle tension
🌿 A sense of calm
🌿 Rest and recovery

Many people attend sound baths because they are looking for a space to pause, slow down, and step away from the demands of daily life.

While every experience is unique, one of the most common things participants share afterward is:

πŸ’œ "I didn't realize how much I needed that."

✨ When stress lives in the body ✨

Many of us think of stress as something that only happens in the mind.

But stress can show up physically too:

β€’ Tight shoulders and neck
β€’ Jaw tension
β€’ Shallow breathing
β€’ Difficulty sleeping
β€’ Mental fog
β€’ Feeling "wired" but exhausted

Sound baths offer an opportunity to slow down, rest, and reconnect with the body.

As the mind begins to settle, many people notice a sense of calm, relaxation, and spaciousness that can be difficult to access in everyday life.

Taking time to pause isn't a luxury, it's part of caring for your well-being.
