My autism practice is full right now, but I will still accept children under age 3. Anke Zimmermann, BSc, FCAH, is a professional homeopath and holistic health care provider who is passionate about helping families with children affected by developmental and/or behavioural challenges. These may include children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental challenges such as PDD-NOS,

sensory processing disorders, ADD/ADHD, behavioural and learning disorders, anxiety, aggression, OCD, epilepsy, tics, Tourette's syndrome and similar. She also has a special interest in vaccine- and medication-related injuries. Anke is also trained in homeoprophylaxis, the use of homeopathic remedies to help mitigate infectious diseases by educating and strengthening the immune system. Homeoprophylaxis can be used by both children and adults. Homeopathy treats the individual, not the condition. Anke's practice is fully international vie telehealth and she has clients all over North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and more. She has been practicing since 1991 and has widely lectured and written about many topics in the natural health field. She is located in Sooke, BC, Canada, but has an international clientele.

Could adults benefit from homeopathic preprations of va$$*nes? I think so. I have seen quite a few cases now; the most striking was a man in his late 30s with autism who used to sit on the toilet for hours every night suffering with his bowel function and hitting and biting himself due to pain and frustration for many years, decades. He got the homeopathic preparation of the DPT va$$*ne and within two weeks this problem had improved by 80%!! Imagine that, suffering all these years all from the s*ots he got as an infant and young child. There is hope for others for sure. I suspect that many adults were affected by va$$*nes and don't even realize it because they don't know what it's like to be freed from such possible imprints. Their childhood va$$*nes could be affecting mental acuity and concentration, tendencies to depression and anxiety, immune system function, sleep and bowel function, energy levels and more. I have certainly seen symptoms like that improve in kids, teens and adults from using homeopathic versions of these medical products. Anyone have any questions or success stories to share?

Great news of the day: 9-year-old boy on the spectrum, under homeopathic care for 2.5 years; the past year with me. When we got started, he was often suddenly volatile, possibly from pain, and was not very interested in interacting with the family among other things. At a recent update mom reported that he had become much for sociable and interested in being with others: "I noticed he was lonely whenever we were in the swimming pool and he didn’t have enough attention or when visitors were playing with the other kids. He looked genuinely sad and he would cry looking around for someone. This is different from the previous version of him, which appeared to like solitude. Or at least that’s what we perceived at the time. He would run to a different room to escape people when he was younger." He has also become much calmer overall, has developed more language and the awful pain attacks have almost disappeared as well. These recent improvements were mostly seen with homeopathic versions of MMR an MMRV. (Priorix Tetra). Has anyone else seen increased sociability from homeopathic MMR and MMRV?

Remedy search: 4-year-old girl, under care for 2 years for various issues. She has gone through quite a few remedies over this time with often very clear indications. The latest:
She has been sensitive to the sound and feeling of water and then needs to rush to the bathroom. A couple of times, she has peed on the floor through her clothes, although she has been toilet trained for over two years.
She has been terrified of bugs lately.
The family tragically lost a newborn baby eight months ago and she has been talking about the baby and how much she misses her.
She has suddenly been very protective of her older sister. When sister fell and hurt her foot recently, she cried and screamed as if her sister's life was on the line and when dad approached to help sister, she screamed, went after him and pulled at him as if she was protecting her sister from an enemy. When she heard the word 'doctor', she screamed even more and was rattled and shaken for hours until she went to bed. What are the important points here and which remedies come to mind for you? (She did get a remedy which alleviated all symptoms.)

Not homeopathy but close to it: I just tried this new program called QuestionsHeal. It's an AI that take you down deep into self-reflection to find your own answers. Good news of the day: Male, early 40s, never well since likely va$$*ine injury around grade one. Since then: Chronic fatigue, anxiety, feeling easily overwhelmed, difficulty focusing, chronic painful GI problems with alternating constipation and diarrhea, and chronic skin issues, including itchy, flaky skin behind ears. Struggled in school would go into shut down mode, unable to think. He started on Carcinonsin 30C which helped with the fatigue (family history of cancer, other indications), then we moved to MMR 30C once a week for 5 weeks. Result: "Overall I feel much better, with about 40% reduction in anxiety. I feel like my brain works much better. I can maintain a conversation much better without my mind wandering all over the place. I can find words much easier and feel sharper and more concise about what I want to say. This is not 100% better, but much, much better. " The skin issue also improved by about 10-15%. Pretty amazing in such a short time and after only a few doses of MMR 30C, and we're talking almost 40 years of this problem! I am expecting continuing improvement and the bowel issues to also resolve over time. Homeopathy is amazing. Anyone else have had positive results with homeopathy for long-standing va$$*ine injuries in adults?

Case taking tip: Getting correct data is CRUCIAL!!!
Have a good intake form to start. Then grill the parents on the details like your life depends on it. They often miss important points or are not specific enough because they did not think things through, have a certain view of things and/or just don't realize how much detail we need.
Case in point: Parent wrote: "He destroys the house". That was not enough detail. On questioning it turned out that the child only damaged things in his own room including scratching or drawing on the walls, only when he was sent to his room as punishment and only occasionally. That is a much more nuanced story.
Another parent wrote, alarmed: "She is taking her clothes off!" 5-year-old girl, it only happens about once a week when she gets too hot in the summer, only at home and she only takes off her top. It would be different if the child did it every day at school for example or was 16 and streaking through the neighbourhood.
Another case: "He is constipated". On questioning it was revealed that the child goes every day, but the parent believed he should have a bowel movement after every meal.
Remember to ask the W questions, who, what, where, when, why and how. If you feel like you're cross examining a witness to the nth degree you're doing it right!
Anyone else have some examples or thoughts on this to share?

Dramatic news of the day: 4-year-old girl with severe nasal/sinus congestion since two weeks old which temporarily responded to antibiotics and surgery, as well as chronic intense night terrors with kicking and very hot legs and especially burning hot feet during attacks since she was nine months old. Gone in 24 hours!! 2 doses of 30C, no more congestion or night terrors since. She also wanted to be carried all the time and is walking fine by herself now!
She also has a slew of other symptoms which include much preferring to be in her world in a dark room, being able to talk but only really talking to her dolls with great imaginary play, emotional reactivity and more, some of which have notably aggravated after the initial remedy.
She received about 50 remedies by previous practitioners over two years, some of which helped in some areas but none of which touched the chronic, severe congestion or the peculiar night terrors. It took me hours of careful analysis to figure out the remedy! She still has a way to go but this is a great start.
It can be easy to get lost in a jungle of symptoms with these complex cases, the key is to focus on the truly unique and peculiar symptoms and go from there. Anyone have any thoughts on case analysis in general or even want to suggest which remedy the girl received? Good news of the day: Feedback from another case which benefitted from Placenta humana among other remedies, a 2-year-old boy on the spectrum who loved to squeeze into tight spaces, which changed after Placenta: "We want to thank you for all of the great things you’ve done for C. When we first came to you, he was barely saying any words, excessively ran everywhere, hid in tiny spaces, and was not yet mimicking behaviors or playing with toys appropriately.
