TRUTH. 🤲🏽💖🤲🏽 Although, I need to add... there are all kinds of reasons for healthy anger, and it is not always about wanting others to see our power. But wanting to regain our power... there are definitely moments when anger is not only appropriate, but necessary for empowerment and protection. Yes.
When I first read this post, I thought of men in our colonized culture who use anger to be seen, heard, to feel powerful.
And the loving people I know who want to see others empowered. Including myself. ;)

🌙 Life rarely arrives as one thing at a time; difficulty and beauty can exist together without either diminishing the truth of the other. ✨ 🖋️

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about who I’m becoming at this point in my life. That reflection naturally led me to kinship, and it made me wonder what kind of “kin” I’m growing into for the people, the Earth, and the beings around me. It’s a way of asking who am I and how I am showing up in relationship.

When you ask yourself what kind of kin you’re becoming; you’re really asking what are the everyday choices that are shaping your relationship with the world around you. In the way you show up with care, with humility, and with presence for the Earth, the spirits, the community, and the beings who walk beside you. The path becomes a lived experience in those small moments. This is where your actions reveal the kind of relative you are choosing to be.

🍃Shamanic Journey Invitation: What does Spirit want to show me about the kind of kin I am becoming? This journey invites you to witness how your becoming is unfolding through your relationships.

Text on Image: “Perhaps one of the deepest questions on a shamanic path is not simply, “What medicine can I receive?” but, “What kind of kin am I becoming?” Let the answer be shaped in practice. In the way you tend the Earth with your hands. Listen for the spirits with humility. Stand with your community when it matters. And move with the beings who share this life as if they are your own relations.”

This shows us that we sometimes push parts of ourselves away because those parts once had pain or fear or shame and it felt safer not to deal with them. Healing starts when we give those parts warmth of keeping them far away letting them come back and be noticed again.

🍃Shamanic Journey Invitation: Where, in my life am I ready to bring the parts of myself that I once sent away? This journey asks me to return to what I have pushed so it can be met with kindness instead of fear.

Text on Image: “Sometimes there are parts of ourselves we exile because they once carried pain, fear, or shame. Healing begins when we stop sending them away and create a warm enough fire for them to return.”

Belonging deepens when I remember the Earth, the sky, and every living presence as kin.

Belonging can be liken to a relationship. Such as when the Earth feels like kin, when the sky widens my spirit, and when every living presence reminds me we are in relationship with it, I begin to sense my place in the wider family of the world.

🍃Shamanic Journey Invitation: mWhere in my life am I willing to remember that I belong among the Earth, the sky and all living presences? This journey invites a return, to the relationships that remind me I am part of a larger living field.

Text on Image: “Blessing of Belonging: May the Earth beneath me feel like kin, May the sky above me widen my spirit, May every living presence remind me of relationship,
And may I never forget I belong among them.”
