đOn August 8th 2026, Fabien took on an extraordinary 110-kilometre mountain run for eight-year-old Alice, who has been diagnosed with Friedreichâs Ataxia. After 22 hours of running including two demanding climbs of Mont Ădouard during the night, he completed the challenge and raised $5,525!
âIt was extremely difficult, both physically and mentally, especially over such a long effortâŠbut I had promised Alice and her father that I would finish and show them, in my own way, that I stand with them. I know that, unfortunately, before long, Alice will have to overcome mountains every day simply to keep walking on her own two legs. I also wanted to show my children what perseverance truly means, because Alice will have no choice but to be extraordinarily perseverant!. I am deeply grateful to everyone around me and around Alice. I am very proud of what we accomplished.â
đ A huge thank-you to Fabien, his family and every person who supported Courir pour Alice. The entire ataxia community is grateful for your perseverance, generosity and support.
