Her passion towards a healthier lifestyle for hersel

f and her family, led her to the eld of Nutrition. Her mission is to inspire, educate, and provide clarity on what's happening in one's body and further helping them to achieve a better state of health and well-being. She is devoted to teaching her clients nutrition through whole foods in an easy, friendly, non-intimidating way. Her goal is for her clients to facilitate their own journey towards achieving optimum health. She looks at individual needs and their individual nutritional prole and makes recommendations for diet, lifestyle, and supplemental recommendations accordingly. My story:
Sujata Kale-Banerjea, is passionate about her new life style that she has adapted. She believes that she has made a positive impact on those around her. She loves to help people who are ready to make positive changes and hopes to motivate people who need that extra push. Before going into nutrition she primarily worked in the dental eld as a Treatment Co-Ordinator for over 13 years. She enjoyed her job of educating and creating awareness about the importance of dental health. Sujata is a loving wife and a mother of 2 beautiful girls, who always made a conscious effort to keep t with exercise. Until a few years ago she realized that age was catching up with her and exercise was not the only thing that would keep her t and healthy. Her body had taken a huge toll from life and she did not understand the impact of that toll until she looked into the mirror one day. The image in the mirror did not match the image Sujata had of herself in her mind. And that's when she decided that the Yoyo - dieting was not for her anymore and she really needed to do something different. She also realized that changing her lifestyle was not just about her weight but was also about ensuring a healthy environment for herself and her family. This is when she needed to understand how nutrition can play a huge role in being healthy. The passion for a healthy lifestyle geared her towards the field of holistic nutrition. She now knows that, apart from food - hormones, sleep and work-life balance are the foundations of a healthy life. She knows that her health is her future. That being healthy is to celebrate life and make every moment count.

As Father’s Day weekend comes to a close, I’m reflecting on how grateful I am for the moments we shared with our grandson.
This weekend reminded me that good health isn’t about chasing a number on the scale.
It’s about having the energy to keep up with the little people who matter most.
Spending time together, exploring, walking, playing and simply being present reminded me why the small daily choices matter.
The meals we prepare.
The walks we take.
The sleep we prioritize.
The habits we build.
Over time, those choices become our strength.
Health fuels strength.
Love builds connection.
Purpose creates legacy.
The greatest gift we can give the next generation is not perfection, but an example of how to care for ourselves and those we love. ❤️

✨ Fluffy, protein-rich, and made from real ingredients ✨

One of my favourite traditional Indian snacks just got a wholesome makeover.

This homemade Khaman Dhokla is made from soaked channa daal, fresh ginger, garlic, green chilies, lemon juice, and Real Salt. No packaged mixes. No artificial ingredients. Just simple, nourishing food prepared from scratch.

As a Metabolic Balance® Coach, I love finding ways to adapt traditional recipes while keeping them delicious and satisfying. For this version, I replaced the sugar with apple and swapped the rice for coarsely ground rye.

The result? Light, fluffy, flavourful, and packed with plant protein.

Enjoy it as a balanced meal alongside vegetables, or as a nourishing snack with a cup of hot chai.

Real food never goes out of style. ❤️

Today I’m celebrating Redmond Day by sharing some of the meals I’ve enjoyed over the years using Redmond Real Salt. From soups and salads to vegetables, proteins, and homemade breads, it’s one ingredient I reach for every day. As a nutritionist, I spend a lot of time talking about the importance of real food, balanced meals, and nourishing our bodies.

Food is more than nutrients. It’s connection, culture, memories, and enjoyment. And let’s be honest... what would many of our favourite meals be without a little salt?

As a Metabolic Balance Coach, I also remind clients that sodium plays an important role in hydration, nerve signaling, and muscle function. Quality ingredients matter, and sometimes the simplest ones make the biggest difference.

If you’re in the USA, you can use my affiliate code SUJATANUTRITION for 15% off your order.

Here’s to real food, shared meals, and a little salt that brings it all together. 🧂❤️

✨ Behind every transformation is a story that deserves to be heard.

As an online coach, I spend most of my time connecting with clients virtually, so having the opportunity to meet some of them in person during my recent Toronto visit was incredibly special. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to Vaishalli and her son Jaiden for sharing their experience and speaking so openly about why they started their Metabolic Balance journey and the positive changes they have experienced along the way.

These moments remind me that health is never just about weight loss. It is about energy, confidence, habits, resilience, and creating a lifestyle that supports your long-term wellbeing.

I was also grateful to spend time with clients, share conversations about health, and provide samples from some of my favourite companies. Thank you to Redmond Real Salt, Zinzino, NFH, and Cyto-Matrix for helping make these gatherings even more meaningful.

Every person has a unique story.
Every body has different needs.
And sometimes the biggest transformation begins when we start listening to what our body has been trying to tell us all along.

Stay tuned for another inspiring client story from Eulalee and Akarsh. 💙

Thank you to all my clients for trusting me to be part of your health journey. It is a privilege I never take for granted. ✨

Online coaching may start on a screen… but the connections become very real ❤️

Visiting from Madeira to Toronto and my heart is so full 🇵🇹🍁

Being able to spend time with some of my metabolic balance clients from Toronto East End and West End meant so much to me.

As an online coach, it’s amazing how familiar everyone already feels when we finally meet in person. The hugs, conversations, stories, laughter, and shared journeys remind me that healing is never just about food.

It’s about community, connection, support, and feeling understood.

Thank you to everyone who took time out of busy schedules just to come by, connect, learn, and spend time together ❤️

A few snapshots from beautiful Toronto memories ✨

Eating protein… or actually using it?

My go-to MB breakfast
Almonds + sunflower seeds + apple

Simple, but powerful

Because it’s not just about protein…
It’s about biological value

👉 Can your body use what you eat?

Essential amino acids must come from food
And the right combinations make all the difference

Especially if you’re plant-based

So the real question isn’t
“Am I eating enough protein?”

It’s
✨ “Is my body able to build with it?”

✨Mediterranean flavours… but make it simple, nourishing, and totally meal-prep friendly ✨

Yesterday I made my version of Mediterranean-style meatballs and honestly… this is one of those meals that just works every single time.

Fresh herbs, lemon, a little heat… and that balance of protein, healthy fats, and real ingredients 👌

I always try to follow Metabolic Balance principles wherever I can, so I used ground flax instead of eggs and kept it one protien and simple.

Paired it with baba ganoush, fresh salad, parsley-mint pesto, and a warm bolo do caco with garlic butter, and couscous and just like that, a very satisfying, wholesome plate 💚

Also, this is such an easy meal prep win
500g made 3 to 4 meals for me

Variations:
• Vegetarian? Mashed black chickpeas work beautifully
• Don’t eat red meat? Swap with chicken or turkey

This is NOT your regular hummus… and yes, it’s Metabolic Balance approved 👀

Most people think healthy eating is about restriction…
On Metabolic Balance it’s actually about precision.

Today’s meal is a beautiful example of that.

I made a creamy, protein-rich hummus using pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds 🌿
Both of these are allowed as a vegetarian protein source on your plan — when measured correctly.

Because here’s what really matters:
✨ The biological value of your protein
✨ The exact portion your body needs
✨ Pairing it correctly with your carbohydrates

This plate came together with:
Soaked and rinsed seeds
Roasted zucchini with oregano, cumin seeds, and good quality salt
Blended with parsley, lemon juice, and garlic
Finished with extra virgin olive oil for that silky texture

Topped with roasted seeds, fresh herbs, lemon zest, and a touch of sumac ✨

Served with sourdough rye and a baked sweet potato… and suddenly, this is not “diet food” this is a gourmet experience 🤍

Your plan is not limiting you…
It’s guiding you.

✨ And maybe… your next meal inspiration starts right here

Be creative. Trust the process. Enjoy your kitchen.
