I’m not always on the Megaformer to “work out.”

Sometimes I’m just connecting.

Connecting with transitions.
Connecting with weight shifts.
Connecting with rhythm, breath, resistance and tempo.

And honestly, this is one of my favourite places where my two worlds meet.

As an osteopath, I’m always looking at the body as a whole. Not just the muscle that is working, but how the joints communicate, how the tissues adapt, how breath influences movement, how the eyes and head orient, how the nervous system responds to challenge, and how the body finds its way back to balance.

Lagree gives me another language to explore all of that.

The Megaformer creates resistance, instability and feedback. It asks the body to organize itself while moving through space. And when I stop thinking about what the movement is “supposed” to look like and start paying attention to how it actually feels, something shifts.

Where do I feel effort?
Where do I feel ease?
Where does my breath change?
Can I soften somewhere while creating more strength somewhere else?
Can I move through the transition instead of forcing myself into the next shape?

That’s where the flow comes in.

Movement becomes less about perfecting a sequence and more about creating a conversation between my brain and my body.

And this is the part I love most.

Osteopathy taught me to listen to the body.

Lagree gives me another way to listen.

Together, they remind me that movement isn’t just something we do to our bodies.

It’s something we experience through them.

And sometimes the most powerful movement practice is simply giving yourself permission to play, explore and feel. ✨

Maybe the reason you’ve tried everything and still don’t feel like yourself isn’t because you haven’t found the right supplement, stretch, treatment, or routine.

Maybe it’s because we’ve been taught to chase symptoms instead of understanding why they’re there.

As an osteopath, one of the most important things I’ve learned is that the body is always adapting.

When the nervous system perceives stress, overwhelm, uncertainty, pressure, or threat, it prioritizes protection over repair.

The problem?

Many people have been living in that state for so long that it feels normal.

The tension.
The headaches.
The fatigue.
The digestive issues.
The inability to truly rest.

We keep searching for the thing that will make the symptom disappear.

But symptom relief and healing are not the same thing.

Healing happens when the nervous system experiences enough safety to stop sending the same protective signals over and over again.

Your body isn’t working against you.

It’s communicating with you.

The question is:

What has it been trying to say?

🤍 If this resonates, comment “LISTEN” and I’ll send you more information about Felt Sense.

This matters if you’ve ever tried every calming technique under the sun and still felt like something wasn’t working because calm was never actually the destination.

You can know everything and still not change a thing.

I’ve been there. All the knowledge, all the awareness, all the “aha moments” and still standing in the same place wondering why nothing feels different.

Because knowing isn’t the same as doing. And that first step? It’s not always obvious. Sometimes it’s terrifying. Sometimes it looks nothing like what you expected.

But it’s the only way through.

What’s one step you’ve taken lately no matter how small toward actually becoming who you want to be? Drop it below 👇 I genuinely want to know.

Psychosomatic doesn’t mean “it’s in your head.” It means your mind and body are one system — and when something is unresolved emotionally, your body becomes the messenger.
That stomach ache before hard conversations? Data.
The exhaustion after time with certain people? Data.
The way your shoulders creep to your ears when you open your inbox? Data.

Your body is not betraying you. It’s briefing you.
Learning to read those signals and then actually integrating what they’re telling you is the most powerful thing you can do for your healing.
