STRESSED ? ANXIOUS ? ON AUTO-PILOT ? STUCK IN SURVIVAL MODE ? … DID YOU KNOW that struggles with your MENTAL & EMOTIONAL HEALTH WILL EVENTUALLY BEGIN TO MANIFEST AS PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS ?? … REFUSING AWARENESS of your body & emotions. NOT ACKNOWLEDGING STRESS or unhealthy situations. NO BOUNDARIES, not saying ‘no’ or not speaking up. NOT PRACTICING NERVOUS SYSTEM SELF-CARE to reset. Staying in SURVIVAL MODE. DENIAL. IGNORING situations & labelling them as “it is what it is”. Subjecting yourself to OVER-STIMULATION as a routine default. These are all examples of the choices we make each & everyday that result in dis-ease within our being.

IN THE CLINIC THIS WEEK: Shoulder blade pain !!! WHAT CAUSES IT ? • Muscular Strain (heavy lifting, overuse, repetitive movements) • Bad Posture (slouching with rounded shoulders and head forward, sitting for too long) • Pinched Nerve • Emotions We’ve Pushed Out Of Awareness (being unsupported, carrying emotional burden alone, grief, betrayal, holding back anger). WAYS YOU CAN HELP GET RELIEF ? Get a chiropractic adjustment & massage. Stretch your shoulder girdle. Swing your arms freely. Be aware of your posture & relax those muscles ! Use a rubber ball as a pressure point to the area.
