8 YEARS. ✨

A little before & after of my own lips — from 8 years ago, before any treatments, to my lips today.

My approach has always been about subtle, gradual enhancement and maintenance, rather than trying to change the natural shape of my lips overnight.

💉 I typically maintain my lip volume with ½ syringe of filler every 6–8 months, depending on how my lips are looking and what they need.

✨ In between filler appointments, I also incorporate lip flips to enhance the appearance of the upper lip and help maintain that soft, defined look.

The goal isn’t to have “more” — it’s to maintain a result that still looks like me. 🤍

This is also a great example of how injectables can be approached as a long-term, conservative treatment plan rather than a one-time transformation.

Every set of lips is different, and treatment should always be individualized based on your anatomy, goals and previous treatment history.

Not all injectors are created equal 👀

With so many new injectors popping up, choosing the right person for your face is about more than just a good Instagram feed.

Before booking, ask yourself:
✨ Are they properly licensed and qualified?
✨ Do they have appropriate training and experience?
✨ Do they prioritize your safety over making a sale?
✨ Are they willing to tell you no when a treatment isn’t appropriate?
✨ Do their results and treatment philosophy align with what YOU want?
✨ Most importantly, do you feel comfortable with them and trust them?

And here’s something you can check for yourself: CNO practice guidelines require nurses providing aesthetic services to have their name, nursing designation and medical director information posted online. So take a look at their website or social media and make sure that information is clearly available.

Your face deserves someone who takes the responsibility seriously. 🤍

Be safe. Be smart. Do your research. And don’t choose your injector based on price alone.
