🌙 Why are you SO hungry at night? 👀
If you find yourself raiding the kitchen every evening, it may not be because you have “no willpower.” There could be a reason your body is asking for more.
Here are a few common culprits:
🍽️ You’re not eating enough during the day.
Too little food earlier can leave you playing catch-up at night.
🥩 You’re not getting enough protein.
Protein helps keep you satisfied and supports more balanced meals.
🥗 Your meals aren’t balanced.
If your meals are missing the right combination of protein, fibre, healthy fats and carbs, you may feel hungry again sooner.
🍬 Too much sugar & refined carbs.
These can leave you wanting more shortly after eating.
😩 Stress & emotions.
Sometimes we’re not physically hungry — we’re looking for comfort, relief or something to help us unwind.
📺 Boredom & habits.
Sometimes nighttime eating becomes part of the routine, even when your body doesn’t actually need food.
The good news? Nighttime hunger isn’t something you simply have to “fight.” Understanding why it’s happening can help you make changes that actually work for you. 💚
If this sounds like you, let’s figure out what’s really behind those nighttime cravings. 👇
