One of the most memorable parts of my summer wasn’t a big trip or an elaborate adventure. It was a few precious hours spent with a dear friend KEYLA MARQUEZ I hadn’t seen in 12 years, since my wedding.🤍
She was visiting from down south, where once upon a time we were roomies in L.A. and somehow, the stars aligned in our busy schedules.✨
Our schedules magically opened up at just the right time, giving us a small window to meet, catch up, laugh, reminisce, and share a dinner together Nobu Toronto Hotel & Restaurant — a dinner that brought back so many memories of the bond we’ve always shared. Our passion for food and exceptional culinary was celebrate with each bite. 🍱
“The measure of a gastronomic triumph is the speed with which it is consumed by friends.” ~ Julia Childs
There was something so beautiful about sitting across from each other and realizing that the soul connection was still there.
It reminded me that true friendship isn’t measured by how often you see someone, but by the depth of the connection you carry with you — even through years and miles apart.
Sometimes life gives us only a few hours, but those few hours can become some of the most meaningful moments we remember. I’m so grateful our paths crossed again this summer. 💫 Wishing this beauty a very Happy Birthday today 💕🎉
