The cost of waiting is rarely obvious until you’re looking back.
There was a time when I thought I’d focus on my health later.
Later when life felt less busy.
Later when I had more time.
Later when it felt more convenient.
Then cancer changed my perspective.
It made me realize that health isn’t something we can afford to take for granted.
And I don’t think I’m alone in that.
Many of us are waiting for the perfect time to start.
The perfect time to move our bodies.
The perfect time to improve our habits.
The perfect time to prioritize ourselves.
The perfect time to invest in our health.
But the perfect time rarely comes.
What I’ve learned is that health is built through small choices made consistently over time.
Most don’t feel significant in the moment.
But they have the power to shape the trajectory of our lives.
That’s why I no longer wait to prioritize my health.
Not because I’m perfect.
Because I’ve learned that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
What’s one thing you’ve been meaning to prioritize for your health?
