Bad news: hard things change your life.
Good news: hard things change your life.
Cancer changed mine.
Not in all the ways I would have chosen.
But it changed the way I look at my health, my body, my home, my time and this life I’ve been given.
I pay more attention to:
To what I eat.
What I drink.
What I put on my body.
What I bring into my home.
How I move.
How I rest.
How much time I spend outside.
And what truly matters to me.
It’s not about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about being intentional.
It’s choosing what works for me.
I keep what feels supportive.
And I let go of what doesn’t.
I’m still learning.
And at the heart of it all is gratitude.
Praise God 🙏
Because I don’t take this life for granted.
Hard things can change us.
Sometimes they change the way we live.
Sometimes they change what we value.
And sometimes they teach us to stop waiting for someday to take better care of the life we have today.
This is what wellness looks like for me now.
Intentional choices, made consistently, with a whole lot of gratitude 🤍
