I create the event, I hold the space, I facilitate the exercises that lead up to the cuddle puddle itself and then I quietly step back and observe.

I have the absolute joy and honour of witnessing moments like this - this is human connection in action. And this is why I do what I do.

Chat magazine ran this story on my work back in October 2025 but asked me recently if they could re-publish it for their June Special - of course I was grateful that they wanted to share it again!

Helping to spread the word and advocate for the benefits of platonic touch and human connection is such a passion of mine, I truly believe it's a vital missing ingredient in so many people's lives and it can directly impact our health and wellbeing; it always impacts our relationships with others and our communities - if we don't feel connected, a part of the community, we don't look after it as well.

Strong human connection = strong, happy, caring communities!

I wanted to talk to you directly about the upcoming Cuddle Puddle and why this one is particularly special.

It's being filmed as part of a documentary on the work I do as a cuddle therapist to promote the importance of touch.

We are living in a touch deprivation crisis and events like the cuddle puddle are one small way of changing that - one hug, one moment of genuine human connection at a time.

If you've ever been curious, come and give the cuddle puddle a try -help to demonstrate how meaningful these events are for attendees can help to lower the stigma around the need for platonic touch.

The next Cuddle Puddle is coming - and I'd love you to be there!

If you've ever felt lonely in a room full of people... if you crave connection but aren't sure where to find it... if you simply can't remember the last time you felt truly held - this is for you.

A Cuddle Puddle is a safe, warm, fully-clothed gathering where we explore the healing power of conscious, platonic touch together. I'll guide you through the whole session - we start with a gentle exploration of consent and boundaries, some light practical exercises, then settle into the puddle itself. There is never any obligation to touch or be touched. You are always in complete control.

People leave these events feeling lighter, more connected, and more themselves. That's why I keep running them.

How has is been 1 year since the first already!! What an adventure it's taken me on since!

My goal was 100 free hugs in 1 day and we smashed it! - it lead to some amazing opportunities but most importantly, it started conversations locally and nationally (even globally) about how important hugs and human connection is for our wellbeing.

My ultimate goal is to have 100 people each giving out 100 free hugs in one day, the same day - that'll be 10,000 free hugs given out around the world in 24hrs

NEW VENUE!

We're delighted to add a new venue to our Coffee & Collection gatherings - which is inside near to the town centre.

Come and join us for our first drop-in there this Thursday for some conversation and connection.

If you feel like you're feeling like you spend too much time on your own and are in need of meeting others for some light heartedness and even a hug (if you'd like), we'd love to welcome you! 🤗

Simply turn up, grab yourself a drink (maybe a delicious cake) to support the venue and come say hello 👋🏻
