I was on holiday and I took both pictures 📸.
The angled one with the flat tummy made it onto my grid.
The natural sitting up one with the belly rolls stayed in my camera roll.
I was a weight loss coach who was terrified of being seen.
Because somewhere in this industry there is an unspoken rule that you are only allowed to coach others through their body if yours looks a certain way first.
I believed that rule for a long time.
I angled myself into it, Filtered myself into it, Curated myself into it.
And while I was doing that I was also building a business amd community for a woman I knew so well.
The woman who sits alone picking her body apart.
Who tells herself she is not good enough yet.
Who has been shrinking herself for so long she cannot remember what it feels like to just exist in her body without apologising for it.
I knew her because I was her.
Not the coach with the perfect figure.
The woman who had spent twenty years starting over, Losing it, Finding it again - Hating herself through all of it.
And then something shifted.
Not my body, My relationship with it.
The last picture is from last summer.
Same belly rolls, Same stretch marks, Different woman wearing them.
I built Glow Her for her - the everyday woman who is done shrinking, Done performing, Done waiting until she is a smaller version of herself before she decides she is allowed to take up space.
You are not too much.
You are not a work in progress that needs completing before you deserve to be seen.
You are allowed to be exactly where you are and want more at the same time.
That is not contradiction, that is growth.
If you have been sitting with this -the hiding, the apologising, the waiting, DM me GLOW 🌟.
Not to fix you., you are not broken.
To finally stop starting over💜
