We want to say thank you to Angela Beardmore School of Dance and their Total Vocals group who have donated a brilliant £340.17 to support our work.

Total Vocals raised the money for ourselves and Project Indi with a special cover of “Christmas Time” by The Darkness. Thank you to everyone involved and everyone who donated to the fundraiser! 💕

🥂Happy New Year from all of us at Moorlands Home Link! ✨
Our services are running as normal today after which we’ll be closed on New Year's Day. All services will resume on Friday 2nd January.

Caring for someone who feels lonely or lives with a long-term health condition?
Our Day Care service is here to support both you and your loved one.

Our minibus collects clients from their homes and transports to our venue in Cheadle where our staff will support your loved one to enjoy their day. Day Care also provides the opportunity for you to take a day to yourself knowing that your loved one is in our safe and compassionate care.

Our Day Care is open each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and supports people who are bereaved, live alone, and/or who are living with long-term health conditions such as Dementia. Our minibus collects from various towns and villages in the Moorlands across the three days.

🤩🎄 We really do love seeing all the extra visitors who pop in to see us during December! 🎄🥰

From Christmas cards and boxes of chocolates, to proceeds donated from fundraising events and donations made in lieu of Christmas cards, every single gesture and contribution means so much to us. No matter how small or large, each one helps us continue our work and truly makes a difference to the people we support. ❤️

Last week, Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, Chief Elf Candy Gingernut, Gizmo Lion, and Schnitzel the reindeer paid us two very special visits.

We cannot thank them enough for the joy they brought to our Day Care guests. Despite how extremely busy they are at this time of year, they took the time to spread festive cheer and create such a wonderful time for everyone. Thank you for making the visits so magical.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lions for their continued support and generosity.

We received a visit this week from Philip and Charles from Rotary Club of Cheadle.
Philip kindly presented a cheque for £107.16, which was raised at their stall during Cheadle’s Light Switch On event.
Rotary Club of Cheadle continue to be wonderful supporters of our work, and we always enjoy catching up with them.
We are very grateful to them.

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent fundraising events!

To everyone who visited our Christmas Fair, attended our quiz night, or joined us for our Christmas meal evening, thank you!

We are very grateful for everyone's support and we look forward to hosting you again in the New Year.

Cheadle branch raises £280 for three incredible charities 💚

Over the last month, our Cheadle branch has held a raffle competition to raise money to support three local charities close to our hearts: Paddles Swim School- Cheadle, EqualBase Cheadle and Moorlands Home Link.

People who entered the raffle had the chance to win a framed 2014-15 Official Squad signed Stoke City FC shirt.

We’re now pleased to announce the winner of the shirt is Kieron Mahoney - a regular Cheadle branch customer and avid Potter supporter! 🔴⚪

A huge well done to Kieron on winning the prize, and a massive thank you to everyone who donated. The £280 you’ve helped raise will be split equally between the three great causes: Paddles, EqualBase and Moorlands Home Link.
