What an incredible turnout at The Haven Open Day last week! 🏡✨

We were delighted to welcome commissioners, professionals and families, alongside our Registered Provider partner Golden Lane Housing, ahead of the service opening very soon.

The event was extremely well attended and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the high standard of accommodation and environment being created for people with complex needs 🙌

We’re excited to be welcoming the people we support into their new homes over the coming weeks and can’t wait to see this new chapter begin 💜

🍊Orange t-shirts, orange food, orange balloons - if it can be orange, Consensus have made it orange! 🍊Raising awareness for Prader-Willi Syndrome, Friday was go orange day (if you couldn't tell!)

Prader-Willi Syndrome affects around 2,000 people and their families across the UK, and today is about raising awareness to foster a better understanding. PWS can affect appetite regulation, metabolism, growth, behaviour, and learning. Over the past decade, at Consensus we have had the privilege of supporting over 200 people with PWS. We truly understand the challenges and have developed specialist techniques that empower people with PWS to live life to the fullest.

Standing alongside the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK, here are some photos of some of the incredible people we support across a number of our services, who fully embraced the spirit of orange today - they truly went all out! 🧡

Spring has sprung at Heatherington House! 🐣🦆

A few weeks ago, we welcomed a clutch of adorable ducklings into the world, and the people we support have had the joy of watching every moment 💜

From the first tiny cracks in their shells, to those wobbly little first steps, it’s been such a special experience!
Moments like these remind us just how special everyday experiences can be!

We love being able to provide meaningful, everyday experiences like this for the people in our care, and are so grateful to share in these little wonders together!
