Who am I? 🍄

I’m Amanda — The Imperfect Artist.
I make art, stories and beautiful things from whatever sparks my imagination — often using discarded, leftover or forgotten materials and giving them another chance to be loved.
I believe creativity has no rules, mistakes are part of the magic, and you don’t have to be “good at art” to be an artist.
I’m the creator of Bert, the Mushroom Army and Bert’s Fabulous Forest, where mushrooms, woodland creatures and a little bit of chaos come together.
My mission is simple:
To give people permission to be themselves, make a mess, create without fear and discover the beauty in their own imperfect creativity.
I’m not perfect. Neither is my art. And that's exactly the point. 🍄❤️

a scarecrow,
candles,
journals,
meditation,
courses,
paper mâché,
nature,
recycled newspapers.
They seemed like separate dreams.
Today, for the first time, they all connected.
That's a significant moment.
If I can leave myself with 1 thing, it’s I’m not a business I’m a brand
I notice that which people unnoticed
the elderly with newspapers to give away,
driftwood,
sea glass,
imperfections,
forgotten objects,
nature,
people who need encouragement.
People who feel overlooked often become exceptionally good at noticing what others miss.
This doesn’t negate my trauma or my expertise,
One day I’ll have my studio I can twirl in and not bang into things .
Someone will walk into my studio and finally realise
This is where seeing oneself truly begins ###
