We started the morning with a catch-up over a cuppa before heading out for a peaceful walk together. It was a lovely way to begin the day.

When we returned, we got creative and started making our Father's Day decorations. After lunch, some of us visited the allotment and were delighted to harvest our radishes and onions, while the rest enjoyed a wonderful singalong filled with favourite songs and plenty of smiles.

Today was also Maya's last day with us. We will all miss her greatly and cannot thank her enough for the time, kindness, and support she has given to everyone. She has made such a positive difference, and we wish her all the very best for the future ❤️

Today we were pleased that the weather finally stayed dry, allowing us to enjoy a lovely walk outdoors.

Some of the ladies enjoyed having their nails painted, and we then spent time taking part in activities in our arts and crafts area.

After lunch, we had lots of fun playing the balloon game, followed by a wonderful singalong that everyone enjoyed.

As part of Carers Week, we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank all the wonderful family members and carers who support our members every day.

Your patience, kindness, strength, and dedication make such a difference in the lives of those you care for. We know that caring for a loved one living with dementia can be both rewarding and challenging, and we want you to know that your efforts never go unnoticed.

Thank you for the love, comfort, encouragement, and companionship you provide each day. We are privileged to work alongside such caring families and appreciate everything you do to help your loved ones live well and continue making special memories.

Unfortunately, the weather kept us indoors again today, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a lovely day together.
We started the morning with a cuppa and some crumpets while enjoying each other's company.

We then spent some time reading the newspapers and watching a bit of the classic comedy Carry On, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter.

As part of Carers Week, we continued making our special cards, putting lots of thought and creativity into each one. Afterwards, everyone kept busy with a variety of activities including word searches, colouring, and puzzles.

Following lunch, we celebrated Ali's birthday, which is tomorrow, with her favourite cake – a delicious carrot cake enjoyed by everyone. We also took the opportunity to thank both Ali and Carol for everything they do by presenting them with some flowers as a small token of our appreciation.

It was then time to get moving with our chair exercises before enjoying some fun and laughter with the balloon game and parachute game.

The weather was very unpredictable today, so we decided to stay cosy indoors.
We spent the morning chatting together and making cards for our loved ones in recognition of Carers Week.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed hand therapy with Ali, which helped promote relaxation and gentle movement.

After a delicious lunch, we took part in some chair exercises to keep active, followed by a wonderful singalong to songs from The Sound of Music. We finished the day working together to complete a 500-piece puzzle.

A lovely day filled with friendship, creativity, exercise, and fun.

Today we started the morning with a catch-up over the newspapers while some of us enjoyed a spot of knitting. We then headed out for a lovely morning walk, managing to beat the rain before it arrived!

After the walk, everyone chose a World Cup team for our sweepstake, which created lots of excitement and discussion. We then spent some time relaxing with colouring activities before lunch.

In the afternoon, a few of us visited the allotment to plant cucumbers and pumpkins, while the rest enjoyed a fun balloon game together. To round off the day, we tucked into some delicious homemade banana bread and cheesecakes, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A wonderful day filled with fresh air, creativity, gardening, games, and good company!

This morning, we enjoyed a walk before heading to our allotment area. When we returned, we continued colouring our flags for our World Cup garland. Everyone did such a fantastic job, and we were delighted to get it all hung up and on display.

After lunch, we celebrated a lovely gentleman's birthday. We all sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed a delicious lemon cake kindly brought in by his wife – it was absolutely wonderful!

To finish the afternoon, we played our Pass the Pig game, using letters of the alphabet to think of countries, names, and foods beginning with each letter. There was lots of laughter and great teamwork throughout.

This morning, we were challenged to a few arm wrestles – and Lauren was definitely the weakest of them all 😂.

Some of us wrapped up warm and braved the cold, windy weather for a morning walk, while others stayed indoors reading the newspapers and enjoying each other's company.

We then got creative and coloured in flags ready for the World Cup starting next week!

After lunch, a couple of us headed down to the allotment, while the rest enjoyed some fun and laughter with the balloon game and parachute game. A great day was had by all!

We started the morning with a catch-up, giving everyone the opportunity to chat.

Later, we headed out for a walk. It was a bit windy today, but everyone enjoyed getting some fresh air and spending time outdoors.

When we returned, we gathered together in the arts and crafts area with a cuppa and some biscuits. There was plenty of conversation, laughter, and participation in a variety of activities. It was then time for some hand therapy, which everyone enjoyed.

After lunch, some of us enjoyed a singalong, while others chose to continue with their arts, crafts, and other activities. It was a lovely afternoon with everyone engaged and enjoying themselves.

The sunshine disappeared this morning, so we spent the morning indoors enjoying each other's company and getting creative with some arts and crafts activities.

After lunch, the sun made a welcome return, giving us the perfect opportunity to head out for an afternoon walk and enjoy the fresh air.

We rounded off the day with a lively singalong, filled with smiles.
