After keeping a close eye on the temperatures this weekend, I’m writing to say I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Clubbercise class at Ashby Fields.
I’ve already had several messages from ladies saying they won’t be attending because of the heat, and after much deliberation , I think this is the safest decision for everyone.
With the school being closed currently for half term, the hall will have been locked up all weekend with no ventilation, and as many of you know, it’s not the coolest room even at the best of times! The temperature at 7pm tonight is still saying it’ll be 31 degrees🥵
I absolutely hate cancelling classes, but your safety and wellbeing always come first, and I don’t want anyone feeling pressured to come along in these extreme temperatures.
All classes booked for tonight will be rolled over to next week automatically.
I will email everyone who was booked for tonight and pop it in the What’s App, but please spread the word to make sure everyone gets the message.
I hope you agree this is the best decision in the circumstances. Please make sure you stay cool, hydrated, and look after yourselves and enjoy your bank holiday.
