Some people think that becoming a teacher is the ultimate goal in Reiki however, it really is just the beginning… the beginning of a vocation to support, guide, educate, create, hone and mentor.

No two students are the same. Everyone has a different way of learning and experiencing, and everyone possesses unique sensitivities which, for me, are the reason I only ever work with 2 students at a time. Students are each on their own path of learning, and I love being able to tailor learning where possible, ensuring they learn in a gentle and supported way, within a relaxed inclusive space.

Students may:

· Want to learn Reiki purely for their own wellbeing and self-care

· Be ready to dedicate time to learn more about the spiritual aspect of Reiki; they perhaps were aware of this as a child and now it is their time to revisit and learn

· Already work in complementary therapy or another holistic / wellbeing / care role

· Want to become a Reiki practitioner, or even learn to work to the National Occupational Standards for the Professional Practice of Reiki and register with CNHC and GRCCT.

Delivering Reiki training has been, and continues to be, immense personal learning for me. Every student brings something to the party in terms of prior knowledge and experience, enabling them to make connections and, of course, the synchronicities between students who meet on the day to learn together can be off the scale!

What a joy to be in this role of continuous learning; adapting and refining courses to be the very best they can be for future students ♥️

In the Usui System of Natural Healing there are four symbols used, each of which holding a different energy, form and use. During Reiki Level II training students are introduced to Kotodama. This is where we chant elements of the Jumon (mantra) of each symbol which enables us to notice and feel into the unique vibrational energy of each symbol, within our body and as it surrounds us.

Today I bought this beautiful plant called Kokedama, originating from Japan - exquisite, beautiful and natural energy… I could not resist!

To all my Reiki students… past, present and future♥️

I’ve been gathering together online resources for each of my Reiki courses - these DO NOT replace Reiki training courses… think more of an aide memoire with handy visuals to refresh your memory from training with me.

It’s not polished, it’s certainly not perfect, and you will laugh at some of my bloopers but you all know it comes from the heart.

This is provided free to all my students in the hope it inspires and motivates you in your ongoing practice of this beautiful modality.

Invites relevant to the training you completed with me will be emailed next weekend so keep an eye on your inbox and spam / junk folders.

I am now closed for the holidays but will be checking / responding to emails. I re-open Monday 5th January with not 1 but 2 courses starting and there’s still a couple of spaces available for therapy sessions that week.
