A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Female Factors Conference on Saturday. It was a fantastic day filled with thoughtful discussion, shared experiences and plenty of opportunities to connect.

Special thanks to our brilliant guest speakers: Dr Laura Knox, Kat Peddie from Endo SOS , and Kate Little from The Haemophilia Society UK , for bringing such insight and energy to the day.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Women's Fund for Scotland whose support made this event possible.

Meet Stacey - a carrier of Severe Haemophilia A

Here Stacey shares her experience* of finding out that she was a carrier of Severe Haemophilia A, and how this has effected both her and her family since she was diagnosed. Her story is that which we are all too familiar with at Haemophilia Scotland. If anything about Stacey's story hits home for you, and you are not already a member of the charity, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you.

* Here Stacey shares her personal experience and all views are her own. Haemophilia Scotland advises that each person should seek medical advice from their centre/ team if they have concerns about their own/ their family's treatment plan.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Mark Morris for completing his 2026 Marathon Challenge, smashing Manchester in 3:18 on 19th April, and Edinburgh in 3:37, yesterday! 👏

Your grit, determination and generosity have raised vital awareness and funds for our Scottish bleeding disorders community and inspired everyone who followed your journey. Your marathon challenge has raised a tremendous £5,200 + gift aid!

Thank you, too, to everyone who supported Mark every step of the way! The friends and family who trained with him, the crowds who cheered on the route, and everyone who donated or shared his fundraiser. Your encouragement, time and generosity made this possible and will have a real, positive impact for our Scottish bleeding disorders community.

We’re so proud of Mark and very grateful to our incredible community. Thank you, Mark. Thank you, All! ❤

We’re incredibly proud of Mark, who has already completed the Manchester Marathon and is continuing his journey to the Edinburgh Marathon this May, all in support of Haemophilia Scotland.

Running in honour of his son Theo, who lives with Haemophilia B, Mark has now raised an amazing £3,235. Theo faces the challenges of a rare bleeding disorder every day with courage, and Mark is running for him, their family, and others across Scotland affected by these conditions.

There’s still time to support Mark as he takes on his second marathon. Every donation helps us continue providing vital support, advocacy, and community for families like theirs 💙🏃‍♂️

Best of luck on the 24th Mark, thank you for your incredible fundraising efforts to date!
