If your menopause is getting you down, come to see our British Menopause Society-accredited menopause expert, Dr Louise Sears, at Formby GP.

Dr Louise has completed advanced training in menopause, which means she can manage your menopause even if you have a complex medical history such as breast cancer, or if you've already tried other menopause treatments without success.

A new patient appointment with Dr Louise is an hour long and costs £240. You can book an appointment with her on our website (select "specialist menopause consultation" from the drop-down menu), or by calling 01704 617050. Dr Louise sees patients on Monday afternoons and evenings.

Most people need to see a doctor occasionally, especially as they get older. With the pressures facing the NHS, many patients are naturally choosing private care. What differentiates us from some other private medical clinics?

We started our clinic slightly later than usual today because Cara was Star of the Week at school! This half-term she has been making a real effort to persevere with things she finds difficult. We are so proud of her.

We are busy this morning! We have one appointment left, at 12.45pm - do book in if you need to see a GP urgently. Otherwise, we still have good availability for Monday, including some evening availability with Dr Louise.

Formby GP is a private medical practice run by a husband and wife GP team. You can book an appointment easily online or by phone, and enjoy unhurried consultations (our standard appointment length is 30 minutes).
