A nightmare refuel is the main reason you’ll have a terrible performance! Getting this part right is crucial ✅

Obviously the bigger the cut, the bigger the risk. And remember, the weight cut starts as soon as you manipulate body fluids at the start of fight week (carb, sodium, water etc)

Your diet can make or break you as a fighter 👀

If you get your nutrition right, it’s not only a huge performance enhancer, but it’s removes a huge mental toll that dieting can play when you get it wrong!

Sometimes you can have a few good weight cuts so everything seems fine, but make sure you notice these small things too and make a change if you notice them occurring 🙏🏻

Judo throwbacks 👀

Never a time without bruised legs, broken fingers or cauliflower ears 😅 lots of losses, but we also got big highs, to travel the world 🇯🇵🌏, become super self disciplined to win against the best in the world, and obviously it led me to learn how to manage nutrition at the highest level of elite sport which has now given me a career 🫶🏻

Some weekend wins 🤩🔥 Always feel so blessed that I get to work with so many amazing people!! I don’t share too much of my clients on here but they’re the best so here’s a few wins this week🙏🏻

You might think you’re doing things right because you’re being healthy..

but the eating “clean” and “no processed” diet as a fighter can leave you:

✅ Depleted of correct carbohydrate intake
✅ Depleted of correct energy intake
✅ Obsessive behaviours / Binges post weigh-in
✅ Inability to push the correct intensities in training

Focus on what matters for A FIGHTER, instead of following Instagram trends like no seed oils, steak and eggs for breakfast and “high protein”
