Feeling out of your depth, unsure where to turn or what your next steps should be? Please come along to our next MSSN coffee morning. We are here to help and support you and your family. 💜

We will be joined by representatives from Knowsley Council’s SEND Team and the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team to listen to parents and carers, discuss concerns and answer questions.

It’s an opportunity to share your experiences, ask for clarity and meet other parents who understand. You don’t need to have everything figured out to come along. 🫶

Perhaps the Council could start by coming out of hiding and actually working with parents and children. There are families across Knowsley still waiting for EHCPs, support and even basic replies to emails.

Co-production means working with families, not just writing about it in another plan. Let’s hope we finally see some action. 👏
