If you’re tired of chasing the “perfect aesthetic” or finding excuses not to post consistently… consider this your sign. Spilling the tea because we don’t gatekeep on my side of social media 🤍✨
1. Don’t be embarrassed about what your friends think — the people judging usually aren’t creating themselves.
2. Your first videos will feel awkward — that’s part of becoming confident on camera.
3. Natural light makes everything look more expensive — face a window before buying more equipment.
4. Film “boring” moments — that’s the content people actually relate to.
5. You don’t need a perfect space — just a clean corner and good light.
6. Stop waiting until you “look better.” Confidence comes from doing it.
7. Speak slower on camera — it instantly elevates everything.
8. Clean your camera lens before filming — it really matters.
9. Have a simple camera-ready look that still feels like you — mine is glow skin, brows, lashes, lip balm, hair off face.
10. Keep a consistent filming setup ready so you can create instantly when inspired.
11. Keep your makeup/skincare organised — it makes filming feel calmer and easier.
12. If you’re making matcha/smoothies/coffee etc — always make 2x for a backup shot.
13. Quiet luxury content = lighting, simplicity, consistency — not expensive things.
14. Everything can be content if you romanticise it a little.
15. Don’t rush a niche — post first and let it form naturally.
16. Simple content often performs better than overcomplicated content.
17. Batch film on good days — future you will thank you.
18. Save ideas constantly — your notes app is gold.
19. Don’t delete “imperfect” videos — consistency wins.
20. Learn your angles once.
21. Stick to a colour palette — it builds your brand quietly.
22. You’re not behind — most creators just stayed consistent longer.
